In my conversations with students across the nation, one of the main reasons why most college students decide to attend college is because they believe that a college degree will help them position themselves for career success after graduation.

Although many college students have this desire, studies show that 41% of college graduates have a job that does not require a college degree, 51% are either underemployed or unemployed, and 73% attain a job that has nothing to do with their college major.
