Nice to Meet You is not just any regular journal book, but it's a journal book with a purpose and mission. The purpose and mission of the book is help as many people as possible bounce back from a negative experience in their life and make a 100 Day Comeback that consist of rebuilding a more productive and better life.

Due to the inspiration to write this book after the Hurricane Katrina experience back in 2005, I have made it a MISSION of mine to give 10 percent of all proceeds from this book back to a non-profit organization that is still helping families and people rebuild their homes and lives.

John McEnroe, the famous tennis player once said, “The important thing is to learn a lesson every time you lose. Life is a learning process, and you have to try to learn what’s best for you.” Basically, John is teaching us in this quote that bad things do and will happen to each of us, but if we are going to be champions, we must learn how to bounce back after a great defeat or failure in our lives.

If you are experiencing a bad situation right now in your life or are someone that just wants to help others out, I want you to know that you are not here by accident, but you are in the right place at the right time. My challenge to you is that you make the investment to purchase this book today because you will either be helping yourself create a better life in the next 100 days or you will be helping someone in New Orleans that can truly use your contribution today.

The choice is yours and I want you to know that I am expecting great results for you in the future!

Book Excerpt

The month was August and the year was 2005 when America experienced one of the most devastating natural disasters ever in our country’s history. In a matter of hours, individual’s rich and poor lost everything; men, women, and children were stuck in homes with constant flooding all the way to the top of the house, and dead bodies were floating around the flooded city of New Orleans, Louisiana. On television, we heard stories where people survived with no fresh water for several days, mothers that lost daughters and grandmothers, and unlawful killings and shootings in a city for no apparent reason at all.

As the days continued following the horrific natural disaster, shelters all across the country took people in to feed and house, auditoriums in Houston were full of evacuees, and controversy clouded the government and various officials for their lack of support in this bad experience in the Southern states of the US. Church members across America became so compassionate to this cause that they housed families and people they knew nothing about. Even though the disaster was a sad thing, the compassion of the American people was great.

Despite all the negative and positive occurrences of this tragic experience in New Orleans, the fact remained that several people from this region of the US were going to have to rebuild their lives at some point emotionally, physically, and possibly spiritually. The process for each was going to be different, but the reality was that everyone at some point would be forced to rebuild some aspect of their life. In this book, “Nice to Meet You”, I was inspired to write it because I wanted to create a book that may help those from these regions rebuild their lives even better than before. I also wanted to empower others that may have experienced similar failures in other aspects of their lives as well.
